MASH Industry & Services Unit
The MASH Industry & Services Units operate for the benefit of self-employed business operators mainly in the trades and services sectors within Ararat Rural City.
The MASH units coordinated by Council are operated as a networking opportunity as well as providing forums on upgrading skills and education in a range of areas including technology, taxation, OH&S and local development issues.
MASH is short for Movers And SHakers on the assumption that if you are a self-employed person who daily puts your financial resources and services on the line in your local economy, you deserve the title of being a Mover And Shaker in your community!
Meetings are held approximately every two months or closer if relevant information or guest speakers need a priority meeting.
Chapters are operating in Ararat, Lake Bolac and Willaura and are open to all self-employed people in the trades and services area that are not already serviced by Council through its other departments (eg Tourism).
